Buffet Catering

Kings Catering is traditionally known for our high quality finger buffet menus.

Kings Catering was founded in 1988 by our Catering Manager Sean, giving us over 25 years of successful trading. We have been successfully providing buffets for many parties and functions including; WeddingsAnniversaryChristeningEighteenthTwenty FirstHouse PartiesBusiness FunctionsTraining FunctionsFunerals and Christmas Parties in many areas of the North East including; Newcastle, Northumberland, Durham, Hexham, Sunderland and many other areas for over 29 years.

We provide delicious fresh buffets with a wide selection of choice that is prepared in our factory building. With fresh daily deliveries from local suppliers we guarantee to serve you the highest quality of produce.

All of our finger buffet menus are created by our Executive Chef Sean and his dedicated team offering buffets for every budget. There is always the option of creating your own special a-la-carte buffet with a briefing and guidance to make sure your buffet is tailormade to suit your function.

Create your own Buffet

A further option of creating a special menu to suit your needs from our create your own finger buffet. The price will include set up of buffet, disposable plates and serviettes for your function.

Menus suggested are intended as a guide. If they are not suitable we will be pleased to suggest an alternative choice.

Whether it is a corporate business lunch funeral or family get together every function can be catered for giving your function the highest priority. We are confident that you can order and then relax knowing you will be given the service you deserve.

Executive Buffets

An Executive Buffet gives you the option of having a selection of hot and cold food on your buffet including a dessert.

These buffets include set up of buffet, linen table cloth, cutlery and crockery for your function.

Knife and Fork Buffets

A Knife and Fork Buffets with full waitress service can be selected and our extensive menu is very popular. With good quality home cooked food, presentation, crockery, cutlery and staff to serve, this can also make a great less traditional wedding choice.

Hot Buffet Menus are an excellent choice for many occasions, whether you are having an Evening Wedding Reception, Party, Anniversary or Corporate Event these menus provide something from the norm. These buffets require a minimum order of 20, include staff to serve, set up of buffet, cutlery and crockery for your function.

Platter Selection

There is also the option of adding a platter to your buffet. Platters are perfect for a board room lunch or if you are having a party at home and have limited space. Adding platters to one of our buffet menus is easy, simply choose the buffet menu that suits your function and choose your platter. Each platter makes a fantastic centre piece.

Our Canapé and Cocktail selection are homemade by our chefs and beautifully presented on elegant plates. Perfect for cocktail parties where light and elegant nibbles are required.

Allergy and Dietary Information

As our buffet menus are bespoke special allergy/dietary requests can be catered for. All dietary requests will be plated separately and fully labelled. All dietary requests must be given with the final numbers and provided in writing with full dietary needs given. Please ask a member of staff for menu information and any allergens in our products. Please note; As we are a catering establishment traces of allergens may be found on the premises and we cannot guarantee to be fully clear of these.

All sandwich selections are 50% vegetarian and 50% meat unless otherwise requested and labelled accordingly. Sandwiches are prepared using fresh daily deliveries of brown, white, malted and seeded selections.
